Believe it or not, this futuristic offering isn't being brought to you by a certain, highly acclaimed Bulgarian designer and Asics collaborator. It's actually the brand's own avant-garde interpretation of an urban explorer that draws inspiration from past GEL series, including the Nimbus, Kushon, Kinetic and Kinsei. It is important to note, however, that the Quantum sole is based on the Kiko x ASICS Levitrack from 2021. Leveraging the expertise of the Asics Institute of Sport Science, this Quantum Kinetic features a slew of technical features that deliver long-lasting performance capabilities. The midsole houses Scutoid GEL™ technology that has a closely packed 3D geometry and off-axis structure for improved shock absorption, and works in tandem with re-engineered FF BLAST cushioning from their running collection. The intricate design has a multi-material construction of mesh and other synthetics and is dressed in hues of Birch and Dark Taupe. All-in-all, this is yet again another solid offering for those who want to elevate their athletic and fashion game simultaneously.
