The Nike Mac Attack is one for the history books as the '80s silhouette inspired by American tennis legend, John McEnroe, returns in a timeless colourway. In tennis lore, John McEnroe was not only known for his shot-making artistry but also his lack of sportsmanship and controversial rivalries with fellow players. Despite his bad-boy antics (by the way, his nickname was SuperBrat), his deft acumen around the net led him to earn nine major doubles titles and one major mixed doubles championship. The legend who made his bad-boy image synonymous with a great sporting era received his own shoe in 1984, dubbed the Mac Attack. The shoe was a game changer. In a time where tennis players opted for clean white shoes, the Mac Attack hit the ground with features like a checkerboard tongue, sloping mid-cut design and a grey and black palette - making it a "Rebel like the OG" and ultimately blurred the distinct lines between sports and fashion. This release sees the shoe built as a 1-to-1 of the original, save for its white and black arrangement.
