The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Satin Bred" Preschool presents an elevated yet nostalgic take on a colourway that has been highly sought after since its "humble" beginnings in the '80s. Its business as usual when it comes to Bred releases. The Jumpman will go back through its extensive archives, do a retro release and the masses flock. It's a pretty fool-proof formula that always works in their favour, however this release is a bit more special than most. Despite this red-on-black presentation having had a plethora of storied releases, from 1-to-1 builds to patent leather iterations, it has only received a satin treatment once in 2016. A surprise and limited run of 501 pairs appeared at a pop-up in NYC, with each shoe being individually numbered on the inner collar and made available alongside matching satin apparel. The same luxe aesthetic has been applied on this offering, complete with OG Nike Air branding and embroidered Wings on the lateral collars. It's safe to say that no matter the finish, the Bred will always reign supreme.
